Kaustubh Radkar

Kaustubh ‘Kau’ Radkar, also known as Kaustubh Radkar, is a former national swimming champion, and worldwide recognised Ironman athlete. Till now, Kaustubh has completed 20 Ironman triathlons, and is among India’s elite athletes.

Kaustubh Radkar has made it to the IRONMAN SILVER All World Athletes list for the 4th time in a row in 2018. The only IRONMAN living and training in India to do so and now amongst the top 5% of the world’s best IRONMAN athletes of his age group.

He is considered as a poster boy of Ironman in India. Kaustubh started swimming as early as an age of nine, and went on to win various national and state level championships. He later went on to represent India at several Asia Pacific Swimming Championships, and was also the national swimming champion for seven successive years. Kaustubh made a name for himself by making a telling debut in the 2008 Arizona Ironman triathlon. He completed the event in 11 hours 41 minutes and 36 seconds, which is still the fastest time on debut by an Indian. Till now, he has completed Ironman 20 times, across six continents. Kaustubh is the first and the only Indian, who has become an Ironman Certified Coach. He provides coaching to amateur, elite athletes and professional triathletes. Besides training athletes, he also holds motivational talks in schools, colleges and corporate events.
