India allrounder Ravindra Jadeja has reached to his career-best rankings in Test cricket. Jadeja is placed 13th in the recently released Test rankings for bowlers. HeĀ is also the second highest-ranked Indian bowler in the list.
The left-arm spinner has been in sublime form throughout the season, and carried his domestic cricket form to Tests, taking 12 wickets in two matches against South Africa, including a fifer in Mohali.
Jadeja was named the man of the match for his superb effort with the ball in the Mohali Test, as he finished with eight wickets in the game to help India seal the match inside three days.
Earlier, in the Ranji Trophy, Jadeja had taken 39 wickets, including six fifers, in four matches for Saurashtra. He also contributed with the bat, making three half-centuries for his state side.
