Allrounder Gurkeerat Singh Mann has been named in the Indian T20 squad that will be facing Australia in a three-match series, starting January 26 at the Adelaide Oval.
The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) in a statement informed about the inclusion of Gurkeerat in the squad for the T20 series owing to injury concerns in the squad.
“The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Gurkeerat Singh Mann in the India T20I team as a cover for injured Ajinkya Rahane,” the statement from the Indian Cricket Board stated.
Gurkeerat recently made his ODI debut in the third one-dayer against Australia at the historic Melbourne Cricket Ground. He was impressive on his debut for the Indian team.
