IPL Draft: MS Dhoni Goes To Pune; Rajkot Takes Ravindra Jadeja

India limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni, as expected, was the first pick in the IPL Draft that took place in Mumbai, and the new Pune-based team picked the destructive batsman.

Meanwhile, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who is in prime form for India, was taken by Team Rajkot. The Rajkot-born Jadeja now will be playing for his home team in the Indian Premier League.

Another Rhiti Sports talent, Faf du Plessis will be joining MS Dhoni in the Pune team. Du Plessis is South Africa’s T20 skipper.

Players, such as Mohit Sharma and Ankush Bains, who were part of Chennai Super Kings last season, and not picked in the draft will go in the auctions in February.
