MS Dhoni has added one more feather to his hat by becoming the most successful Indian skipper away from home in terms of ODI victories.
India’s four-wicket win over the West Indies was Dhoni’s 59 overseas win as he surpassed Sourav Ganguly’s record of 58 wins. Meanwhile, Dhoni also equalled the record of consecutive wins in the World Cups.
Dhoni played a key role in India’s victory by making an unbeaten 45 in difficult circumstances at the WACA, when the defending champions lost the top-order.
India have won 2007 World T20, the 2011 World Cup and Champions Trophy in England under Dhoni’s leadership.
