MS Dhoni has been named in Forbes world’s richest athletes list and he is the sole Indian, who has been named in the list of 100 highest-paid athletes in the world.
The list features the likes of American boxer Floyd Mayweather, who tops the chard, Roger Federer, Tiger Woods and Cristiano Ronaldo. Dhoni, meanwhile, is 23rd on the list, according to Forbes.
“He led India to the semifinal round of the 2015 Cricket World Cup before suffering a loss to eventual champion Australia, and in May the Chennai Super Kings went to the IPL Finals for the sixth time in his eight years as team captain,” Forbes said.
